Peringatan tahun ini berfokus pada pentingnya dukungan politik yang konsisten serta pembiayaan yang berkelanjutan bagi para pasukan "helm biru" di tengah meningkatnya ketegangan geopolitik global.

- Tema Utama: "Invest in Peace". Tema ini menyerukan aksi nyata dari negara-negara anggota untuk memastikan personel penjaga perdamaian memiliki sumber daya memadai dalam menjalankan mandat mereka.
- Statistik Operasi saat Ini: Lebih dari 50.000 personel (militer, polisi, dan sipil) dari 118 negara saat ini bertugas di 11 misi aktif PBB di seluruh dunia.

Kontribusi Indonesia
Sebagai salah satu kontributor pasukan terbesar (peringkat ke-6 global), Pusat Misi Pemeliharaan Perdamaian (PMPP) TNI terus aktif mengirimkan personelnya. Hingga Mei 2026, Indonesia tercatat mengerahkan hampir 2.000 personel militer dan polisi (termasuk 156 personel wanita), salah satunya lewat pengiriman 744 personel Satgas Garuda untuk misi UNIFIL di Lebanon.
